Wither & Die (Brother Rudy)

A friend of this world is an enemy of God. Learn what the psalmist meant in Psalm 26 when he said “Prove Me.” Being proven is much like taking a metal and heating it in a crucible until it becomes a liquid. At that point, due to the heat, all impurities are being removed. This is a perfect example of what it takes to crucify our flesh daily. Prove that you will feed His sheep.

The Greatest Deception

Light & Darkness

Why is it that we shy away from darkness as Christians? Why do we not seek the gifts that are provided us such as prophesy? Spiritual Gifts are literally Christ Manifested in you. Once you receive the Holy Spirit through the newness of life in baptism, is Christ not present in you? In this message, we learn that the greatest deception we have been riddled into believing is that we should focus on Self and not on God. Listen in to hear what is one of my FAVORITE messages to date.

The Birth of Christ – Jesus Foretold by Matthew & Luke

The Magi were deep in astronomy (study of the stars to see signs from above), not astrology (study of the stars to know how to live our lives). King Herod is known as a soldier of Satan. These two people were instrumental during the time of Jesus’ birth. A thought that stuck out to me from this message was that in our Western culture, we are deceived by love and peace: to not take a stance with the fear that if we do, the god that we have created might change. We are to live boldly and with true hope (expecting waiting) in our Father. God calls us to live this way.

Fasting

Drawing Nearer to God

What is the most basic need that we have? We need food and water. Why is it then that Jesus says in Matthew 4: “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” This was His response to the Devil when tempted in the desert after he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights…This study is intended to answer the questions that most of us tend to ignore about fasting. Is it still relevant today? How does God utilize this form of service? And most importantly, what are some Biblical examples of fasting? Listen in and challenge yourself on this topic.
